Ideal if you are wanting to bring a chimney back into use. We use modern CCTV camera while completing the inspection, a camera is navigated through the flue and can provide the inspector a more accurate visual of any cracks, obstructions, creosote build-up, and other signs of dangerous deterioration

A level 2 chimney sweep inspection is required if a major change has occurred such as installing a new appliance, using a new fuel, or if your chimney has had structural changes. If you have just purchased the property or do not have accurate documentation of your fireplace’s history, a level 2 chimney sweep inspection is often advised. Nest removal services are only available from September 1st to February 28th. - this is down to the  protection of live nests under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 -  Contact us for more info

Sometimes if its a enclosed gas fire or appliance then it will need removing by a GasSafe engineer before hand.

A lot of gas fires need removing by a GasSafe engineer prior to a visit for a chimney sweep, once swept they will need to return and refit and commission the gas fire.

Sometimes a GasSafe engineer advises you get a chimney swept if they encounter and issue while carrying out a service & find an issue.

• Dismantling the stove or log burner and removing it from your property
• Recycling appropriate parts – keep waste going to landfill to an absolute minimum
• Cleaning the chimney or flue liner 
• Using an appropriate method to seal off the chimney opening - if cowl/cap needed will be extra

• Photos, Videos & advice on the state of your chimney
• Receive advice on any repairs works needed
• Save time and money as you won’t need to hire scaffolding or a cherry picker! You can use the photos and information when speaking to roofers, builders etc after any quotes for repair work. . 

Bird Guard/Cowl Replacement, Chimney Capped etc - Price dependant on access & product fitted. 

*We advise to supply & fit quality heavy gauge BSEN Approved Stainless Steel cowls made in the UK. We can fit aluminium cowls but advise to fit stainless steel when using solid fuels

Replacement stove Door Rope Seal prices from £40 for (standard rope, some stove used specialised ropes which incur different charges) 

Let us know when booking if you think you may need rope replacement. 

Feel free to source your own firebricks for your stove model but let us know pre visit if possible.

Firebricks are serviceable part of your stove and do need replacing when damaged. Get in touch if you need any more information.
