Chimney /Flue Inspection with CCTV - Wirral
Level 1 Chimney Inspection Includes:
This is the most common and fundamental inspection. A visual check to look for any obstructions in your chimney such as creosote build-up, a bird nest, or soot.
After the inspection, the sweep will commence. Your sweep will use brushes, extension poles, and a specialised vacuum to remove any material build-up in your chimney and safely contain it.
Includes:
-Fireplace area covered with dust/soot sheet which we provide
-Swept to HETAS standard
-Full visual check - hearth, pot, stack, fireplace, lintel etc
-CCTV camera inspection
-Smoke Test 2 - Evacuation check
-Detailed report will be issued if any remedial work needed, basic report and photos provided if no major issues.
Ideal for people who are experiencing problems – If the chimney has started to smoke back or it’s not burning as it once was, we can inspect the flue to find out what is causing the issues.
If you have not used the chimney in a long time, it’s a good idea to inspect the condition to ensure that it’s still safe.
Blockage – Your chimney has a blockage that sweeping cannot remove, a level 1 inspection allows us to identify the blockage and advise on the most appropriate method of removal/repair
